Stay-N-Play

Toddler Program

We offer:
1. Age appropriate activities for children 18 months to 3 years old
2. Low teacher/child ratio that meets the Iowa Department of Human Services guidelines
3. Hands on play to enhance social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills
4. Inside and outside play, story time, large and small motor skill opportunities, and music/song experiences
5. Experienced, loving, nurturing, and fun staff

Three-Year-Old Program

We offer preschool for three-year-olds Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. from September through May. This is not a separate pull-out program. All three-year-olds will receive the instruction. The staff plans age appropriate activities planned to enhance the social, emotional, physical and cognitive skills necessary to meet the developmental needs of all children. Our daily program includes small and large group activities, large and small motor activities, outside time, literacy/story time, center time, and monthly library field trips. Income-based scholarships are available for participants. Department of Human Services and Promise Jobs childcare certificates are accepted.

School Age Care

School-aged care is available before and after school, on non-school days, and during the summer. During the school year busing to the Stay N Play center will be provided from all elementary schools by the Clinton Community School district. Our own cook prepares delicious meals and snacks that follow the guidelines of the Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Snacks will be provided after school, and lunch will be provided when not available at school. Also, care will be given for children during school early outs, holidays, and non-school days. During the summer daily programs provide field trips, weekly swimming pool trips, and activities in correlation with the summer reading program at the Clinton Public Library,
